"The two most powerful warriors are patience and time".

LEO TOLSTOY

GRAND PÈRE

The vineyard is old, planted in Villa Bastías with Dijon Clones in 1993. The Grand Père parcel is more shaded, with delicate red fruits and high acidity. Mineral. The Grand Mère parcel gets more sun, with generous and silky tannins. Winemaking is traditional and gentle for these delicate wines. Yields are extremely low in both sites due to the age of the vineyard.

VILLA BASTIAS, TUPUNGATO, UCO VALLEY – 1120 MSNM (3675 feet elevation)

Grand Père is one of the parcels that always caught our attention since we started seleting plants and working with different percentages of whole bunches. The elaboration in each vintage is different, but we have guidelines that we follow year after year".
